Yishai Issues the Call – 40 Days For Israel Starts Now!

The Speech Diet is on!  Read the viral e-mail which lays out the plan for Caleb’s 40 Days for Israel Challenge – and be a part of it!

The goal:  To rectify the sin of the spies, incurred through the slandering of the Land of Israel, and rain down long-awaited blessings on the Jewish people, their friends, and all good people all over the world.

The strategy: Speak good and ONLY GOOD about the Land of Israel and its fine indigenous Jews for 40 days – exactly the same amount of time during which the spies compiled and delivered their destructive report – and on the exact same days on the calendar.  Start channeling your inner Caleb ben Yefuneh!

The tools: Your face.  And your Facebook – and Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, blogs, pretty pink stationary, cordless phone, carpool, work memos and kiddie park moms-on-benches play time.  If you’ve got it (nice things to say about Israel, that is), flaunt it for Israel.  Likewise, as your mother always told you, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

The payoff: Aside from fixing a few thousand years worth of mistakes and ending a painful cycle of punishment and shame, you mean?  How about Jewish unity, a happier Israel, the presence of mind to enjoy the blessings in your life, and the power to make others feel the same?  Not bad for a few days work.

Over the next 40 days, you will become a positive broadcaster for Israel, a beacon of light and hope, through Facebook,Twitter (hashtag #40Days4Israel), your local grocery store and at the water cooler – wherever you find yourself throughout the day. Check back at our special campaign website www.40Days4Israel.com for great positive content every day. We will be putting up posts from great folks like: Zev Stub from Janglo.netRabbi Shimshon NadelDavid Ha’Ivri, Rabbi Tuly Weisz at Israel365, Rabbi Mottle Wolf at InwardBound, Lorelei Lehrer from Radio Free NachlaotRabbi Shlomo Katz an inspirational musician and teacher, Rabbi Chaim Richman founder and director of The Temple Institute, from the JewishPress.com and many others . WE ALSO WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!  YOU ARE THE REAL ACTIVIST IN THIS CAMPAIGN.  Share your positive ideas, stories, photos, and videos. Post them up on our Facebook page, chat with me on Twitter, or e-mail me at yishai [at] yishaifleisher.com.

We need this campaign now more than ever.  I look forward to sharing my love for Israel with you – and likewise being inspired by your own passion for our precious homeland.  Let the challenge begin!

I’m sure this person thinks they are doing a mitzvah encouraging people to keep the corruption quiet.

While I do agree that it’s important to write about the wonderful *People* in Israel, we must never stop blasting the truth about the foreign-controlled, foreign-loyal and anti-Semitic/self-hating Jewish government that is occupying Israel.

Personally, I’m more in sync with Yohushu’a bin Nun.
